The MIA jet base is still small, it's growing slowly but it's movement is also more difficult to predict. I don't have access to the Executive side to see how either base looks on the ATR. I'd say bid whichever is more convenient for you and see how it plays out. If you don't like what you end up with you can always transfer bases.

On another note, I have a friend who got the call for an interview a week ago but hasn't heard back since, any insight from those who have recently gone through the process on how long they're taking to arrange interviews after the initial call?
Hired in July on the ATR in MIA (oldest in class and yes I picked the ATR for QOL.) Finished IOE middle of Sept. Transferred to DFW OCT. Holding a line in FEB. Having a blast!!!!!

proof that its all about what you make of the job. On an ATR first year FO and enjoying himself at a job he loves. How about that!

I guess the Executive side is quite different from the MQ side. I have yet to meet or fly with a Captain that has not been top notch. The Fo's are just as pleasant. I have no intentions of going elsewhere or to a different plane. My intentions are to stay here until I make Captain on the ATR. I have flown plenty of jets and the ATR is somewhat of a challenge to fly and especially land. I get to fly tomorrow and I am looking forward to it. Yes, it is what you make of it. If your looking for a big paycheck then I suggest you look elsewhere. If you're looking to have fun and fly with good people, then this is the place to be.

Glad to hear you're enjoying it, and welcome to Eagle!

Does anybody have any insight as to what the equipment and bases will be for the 28th? Or is it still too early to tell?

You should get an email about a week from your start date with the options for equipment and base.
