I was originally scheduled for the 14th class but got bumped to the 28th...got the confirmation email for the 28th class today...here's the breakdown:
5 Dallas ATR
2 New York Embraer
8 Chicago Canadair
8 Chicago Embraer
For the last few weeks I've been trying to decide between DFW & ORD ERJ...looks like that won't be too tough a decision.
Just out of curiosity where is the shorter reserve sit on the ERJ, DFW or ORD? (I know it's a gamble and I shouldn't be getting ahead of myself, especially having read about reserve sits for CRJ in NY)

More than likely because at the close of next months bid, they still are showing FO status in the computer. If they go to class during next months bid period, those lines will be dropped and they still will get paid for them......I think.

Hey all, so I'm finishing up my ratings now. (using the Gi Bill at Riddle) and should have everything done August of this year. I'll be moving back to Atlanta to instruct.
With all the hiring going on at Eagle would it be worth it to go there and commute? ORD or MIA might not be too hard of a commute and I hear reserve time isn't that long. I'd really like ASA, but I don't know how the SLI is going to turn out and how senior ATL will be once all the dust settles.
Thanks guys/gals

Are they going away from the 40ish sized classes now? I was really looking forward to getting in the Feb 28th class.

Regarding the interview at Eagle:
Does anybody know if they score each stage of your interview? I was wondering if it is just simply a pass/fail process or if they actually note and/or score how well you did during the tech, sim, and h.r.
I ask because I wonder how much weight that would have during the captain's review. I am currently waiting and trying to figure this out.
Some people claim they were clean as a whistle and still got their offer revoked. Now, maybe they had skeletons in their closets they didn't want to share. Or, maybe they interviewed well enough to get the inital offer but not well enough to pass the final review.
I posted this on another site, but I have a friend who interviewed in December who got his pre-offer rescinded. He had an incident from a few years ago..something aircraft related. He said the FAA didn't pusue any further action and he disclosed it during his interview. Other than that his "current" employer let him go after they found out he applied to Eagle. Not sure if this happened before or after he interviewed.
Other than that, the only thing I can think of is that he just didn't blow them away during the interview. Maybe he did just barely well enough to get the pre-offer that day but when the Captains reveiwed the notes/scores pertaining to the different parts of his interview they decided against hiring him.
Any thoughts on how the process may work?
