Going for my interview in a couple weeks; I'm 44; I'll take the MIA ATR and do a little island hoping, assuming I get an offer, so that'll free up at least 1 jet for you young bucks in my class!

The Citation is certified single pilot? Like the Citation X and Sovereign? No offense, but you really should know what you're talking about before babbling out "advice" like this.

There are SOME models of the citation that are certified for single pilot operations. There are some that are certified for single pilot AND crew (two pilot) operations.

Finally, there are LOTS of citations that are certified for only two pilots.

Incidentally, "company op-specs" have zip, zero, zilch to do with when one can log SIC time in an aircraft. Neither do insurance requirements. It's all about the type of operations (135 charter, etc.) and what the aircraft was certified for in the AFM.

Sorry for the rant, that is my hot button.

The CE-560 can only be flown single pilot with a SP waiver. It is, by default, a two pilot airplane. Don't mention anything about company op specs in your interview, as that is incorrect.

The ATR's are not all based in MIA
The ATR bases are DFW, MIA, and SJU.
As for the date of hire bidding there is really no telling what your base and equipment options are. Looking back at the previous pages you can see what other classes were able to bid. Just go back every 2 weeks from the 28th and find posts on those dates.

The Age range that only had a choice of ATR DFW or MIA I would say was around 21-23
