I've read through several pages, but couldn't find an answer. What are the chances of a new hire getting MIA? How about getting the jet at MIA?
I see a lot of people asking about LGA and ORD, but not much about MIA? Is it that senior, or does nobody want to go there?

The worst is really a personal preference based on family, climate and all sorts of other items. For me being from Phoenix i'm a desert rat and prefer something a little warmer, so my ranking of bases to live in, Chicago is definitely at the bottom of my list. If I ended up in Chicago i'd still be more than happy because its better than flight instructing, so right now i'm planning to live at the bases that I rank lower on my personal preference list and hope I get something higher on my list.

I really would not want to try to commute home from SJU to SAT. That would not be a very friendly commute. Not as good as a 45 min commute! Thats just me though! I look forward to this experience, but I value my home life as well. So I know we all make the "best" of it as much as possible, so one could assume if there is a "best". there is a "worst" (most unfavorable, according to Websters)
