Bid into work conflicts to preserve your time off. All companies have minimum days off for pilots so they can't take you below that. However if you are a line holder with 14-16 days off you will certainly lose days off unless you bid into conflicts. Bidding into conflicts is a good thing about hard line bidding over PBS.

It won't count unless you bid that way. Do what Purdue said. You'll be ok.

just curious but how do you have 500 multi and ALL of it is on the ATR? Didnt you do ANY training in light twins?? Also to be honest with you, times arent everything... Have to give more information. Eagle is hiring a bunch, so if you are motivated, have a relatively clean history (and tell them about everything up front), and know your stuff, the interview shouldnt be that difficult for you.... Its like any other company, you study what they want you to know, brush up on what you already should know, and be yourself (hopefully not a complete D-bag or they will send you home)....

hey stryker. thanks for the help.

i should correct myself. not ALL my multi time is on the ATR, i did have about 25 hours prior to that so it would be safe to say i have approx 525 odd hours multi.

and would my flying experience on the ATR help me with my chances at Eagle? and if so, would they be interested in hiring me just on the ATR fleet or will I have the option to fly any of the other fleets as a new hire?

any idea on upgrade times? and time on reserve? and bases?

A girl I know on the ATR told me the same thing, but she also said people are hitting 1 year and darting to the jet like hot cakes.

We were told jets were way behind on staffing so they were temporarily suspending ATR training. That being said we had 4 ATR FO's in our class transferring over to CRJ cause their year was up so that side of the house will be screaming for some pilots again too! People getting based all over except for LAX so it will vary from class to class. Just bid the equipment that you want and transfer bases, it is very dynamic right now and there is lots of movement.

Yup not off limits to transfer but unlikely to see it on the board in class. I too also heard of people getting it after a few months
