Hey, anyone who's been through it...regarding this English Proficiency endorsement on your commercial or ATP. Anybody have any info on that? I mean, I checked the box on the 87-10 saying I read, write, and understand English, but I can't find a specific endorsement anywhere.
https://amsrvs.registry.faa.gov/airmeninquiry/
Enter your info and then do a search on yourself. When you look at your commercial/atp certificate under the "Limits" you should see "English Proficient."
If you DO see the english proficient then you can go here:
English Proficiency endorsement – what it means to you
and just order a replacement.

I will be interviewing soon and would love to have my class date expedited in case I don't screw up the interview. Did you guys contact your previous employers? Anything special? Thanks

That was wicked fast! They must be sending you guys through the review board before the background checks come back...
Either that or the FBI is processing those fingerprints like champs....

I followed their instructions as close to perfect as possible. I had two folders with all the packets they send you all paper clipped and filled out the way THEIR instructions say to fill them out. Some of the faa doc's have instructions too. Follow AE's instructions first then the FAA instructions!
When you are done, review them. then again. then have someone else review them (yes i did haha).
Make sure the fax numbers of previous employers are correct and working!
I had one previous employer I knew would be a pain. the second of got off the plane after the interview I went to their office and went to the fax machine pulled the documents and watched them fill them out and fax them back!
I called all the rest and asked them to check for and to send the faxes back asap.
I had one previous employer had his faxed back before I left AE HQ.
ALL of my required faxed doc's were back at AE by the next morning (8AM)
Just be prepared as much as possible before you go!
If you don't have a good gouge get one.
When you are at the interview, remember its more about YOU then anything else. Every single person you speak with except the hr guy is a Eagle captain.
I believe every one of them is looking at you thinking could I spend 5 days in a plane with that guy.
I interviewed 9 days ago!
I got the call at 1130 this morning. at 1330 i got the email for conditional offer. I faxed and emailed a copy of the conditional offer by1452 and while I was typing this reply i recieved an email for a march 28 class date and a 3/16 medical date.
I have always treated every one there with the utmost respect and was not pushy about the emails or phone calls and always very appreciative.
Not saying it will work for everyone, but that is my story!

WOW! Talk about being proactive
You definitely went above and beyond...Congrats! When you say you called all of your previous employer to make sure they filled out and faxed back the required paperwork...that only applies to 2 years of non-aviation employment and 5 years of aviation (pilot) employment, correct?
