Why are upgrade times so bad at Eagle? I've never heard of an upgrade time of less then 6 years at Eagle. My friend just got hired there and he heard new upgrade predictions of 4 years.
Even when upgrade times at other regional such as CHQ in 2007 were approx. 13-14 months, Eagle was at 6 years! This tells me that upgrade time at Eagle is not affected by the economy/airline industry as much as at other regionals yet its affected by some uknown factors to me.
I would love to get a job for Eagle because of personally desirable bases such as DFW and the new MIA (which I hear is fairly junior?) but it seems unreasonable and ridicilous to be on FO pay for 4-6 years!
Does it have anything to do with AA?

BTW, our most junior captain is a 5 year old seniority number, now. Fairly typical for larger regionals now.

Congrats! At the end of the first week you should get some info on how to log into the DECS system. Find an instructor or someone from the class ahead of you to help you login and then type 3P/DFW/FO/ATR/D and that will enter your preference to bid for a DFW transfer. Welcome aboard!

It is pretty much straight forward, they bring you to Dallas to interview with the intent of hiring you. Its yours to lose at this point. Also, its tough to tell who actually receives the offer or not. In my interview I completed all 3 stages before lunch time, so as soon as lunch was over they pulled me out with no inclination of whether I was hired or not, after the door was closed they told me it was good news. So just because someone leaves at 1 instead of 4 does not mean they did not get hired. Its the ones that leave at 8:10 that it is a given
