Looking at some apartments and wanted to get some opinions, experiences, etc.

So far I've found "Gateways at Centreport" and "Foxborough".

Both are 12-15 minutes from the airport; located southwest and southeast of the field.

Thank you in advance for the feedback.

Hey man, I dont work for Eagle however I do live around that area. The Gateway at Centerport is kind of run down. I dont think you would like it there. There are a few apartment buildings just a bit further down 360 on Post and Paddock. One that comes to mind is Stone Lake, I lived there for a year. It was a pretty good place. There are lots of FA's and American guys that live in this complex as well as the other 4 or 5 within a stones throw. They run about 6-800 for a one bedroom place. There is also a Kroger grocery story about 10 min drive down the road. Look into the 360, Post and Paddock area and see what you come up with. If you need advice on the area PM me. Ive lived here for 15 years.

Try Euless, five minutes north of there, and off center from the center lines of DFW. Being just south of the airport, where the wind prevails 95% out of the south, all the departures will fly low and make tons of noise all day. I knew some folks who lived there, and moved after a year because of the noise. Even if you like airplane noise, stopping mid conversation until the noise is gone is annoying.

Yea he couldnt be any more right. The jet noise is pretty loud at times. Euless is also a good place to try. Ive found most of the apartments in Euless are a little older. Plus the triffic on 183 can be a beast any time of the day! I guess 360 isnt much better though.

I would avoid most parts of Euless and Hurst. Look into Bedford. It has a higher average income/standard of living but the same cost of living as Euless and Hurst. I grew up in the H-E-B area (as it's known) and lived in all 3..Bedford is without a doubt the nicest.

If you want to branch out a little there are places within 20-25 minutes of DFW which are very nice. I currently live in the North Dallas/Addison/West Plano area and it only takes me about 25 minutes to get to DFW airport.
