Read the whole chain-I'm behind a desk all day and have the time to peruse the forums. And he does use my login sometimes I actually just enjoy reading the forums-and it makes me feel more involved with his career!

How bout you guys quit giving her crap for trying to help her husband. Just answer her questions... God why is everyone on here so cynical??

On another note, has anyone heard anything about the new hire class today? (size, equipment, bases)

That's not belittling, it's pointing out that a lot of people here just want to spread negativity. There is enough of that out there. Try being nice and helping someone out for a change.

And about the info I asked for, its just curiosity. Im just wondering if they are back to full class size. It doesn't affect me.

I have been to a lot of airports but have never seen "light guns" along runways. I have seen Transmissometers though. They are devices that use a laser beam to detect atmospheric particles (smoke, dust, water vapor) and the density of them in a given calibrated space.
