Maybe if they would stop sending home so many pilots during the interview, they would actually fill the classes:rolleyes:

I don't work at Eagle. I interviewed at Eagle half a year ago and was one of the many that got send home since then. I know several good pilots and people that "didn't make the cut".

Yes, I understand. I'll leave it at that.

my interviewee friend was going in as a sim instructor and said that the training dept cannot cope with the impending ft crisis without hard numbers. ie they do not know when the ft's start either. not sure about the class numbers though.

Ok, so I was reading at the my pilot career website about A.E., and there was a comment about how the first thing they did at a recent interview session was ask, "Anybody in here fail a checkride? Ok, get out!" Is this true? Is that how they initially weed people out?

Definately not true. I had a bust in my past and got hired at Eagle, although I didn't take it. I had a very positive interview experience at Eagle.

These things will cause you to not get hired.
3 failed checkrides
2 of the same checkride failures
DUI
Lying on your app

Great, thanks for the information. I'm on my way to DFW for an interview.
