Who says we don't have the airframes? Have you seen our ops in Miami?

Supposedly the "big announcement" alluded to in an earlier post will be tomorrow. No idea what it is but tomorrow is the day.

The big announcement thus far has been the recall of 250 AA pilots.

Very good news indeed.

How exactly will this work now for the flow thru's?

Even though this won't open the flood gates at eagle, it may continue hiring at a solid pace and provide some movement for the folks that have been floating for the past couple of years.

the 80 feb 2010 aa pilots will be recalled then aa pilots and ae pilots in seniority order, i believe there will be quite a few ae captains flowing over starting around febuary, not sure on the exact numbers for the ae flow thrus this affects, good news though

80 AA furloughs from Feb 2010, then 214 AE flow throughs from the greivance award and then the rest of AA furloughs and AE flow throughs in seniority. So their should be good movement here at AE..... for now.;)

Let's hope they don't park the 135s now.

That would null and void any movement.

Can anyone else in go into RES and confirm that all eagle flights...EMB included are now showing a first class option in the computer? A gate agent showed me that last week and said it was the first time they've ever seen that.

less the 35 that went - 179 and any undefferals from the original recall - over 700 could take a class after the Feb furloughs. that number was 102 not 80

I had to research it myself, several sets of numbers are being bandied about. Spoke with an interviewee for the training dept. at ae. they are clueless on how to prepare for this since they cannot tell when the FT's will start.

Ask your interview buddy how full the newhire classes are. I heard they want 30 per class, but can only get 12 or 13.
