I cant tell if your saying this to be helpful or saying this to pull an 'rjpilot' type post??

No one likes it when someones pulls an RJPILOT.

Use the N4D command to look up open time. Then do HI31 to proffer for it.

The easiest way is to ask some one in the crew room how to proffer.

So I finally got through the interview. Now I can ask questions about the company without people telling me worry about the interview first. But I guess that will change to worry about the training first.
Soooo anybody in Dallas on reserve want to let me know what's the average flight hours a month?

Just to be clear: you dont bid for lines. You proffer for open sequences the day before between 11am and 3pm central time.

Use the code N3do/base/aircraft/fo/date

That will show all open sequences for the following day which have not been assigned yet. Once you have decided which ones you want to try for type HI31 and enter your proffers. You can also proffer for raps and standbys there. Check the bid packet in jetnet for the codes.

Jetnet>Eagle Pilots>Bid Info/ Crew Services.

Start reading PDFs files, everything you have to know is there.

Are you talking about the monthly bid or about proffering? If you are talking about the monthly bid, the code is HIB. Just don't make the same mistake as me and bid a standby line your first time. Make sure the line you want says "RSV" and not the two lines at the end that say "S-1 530-1330" or "S-3 1400-2200." It will ruin your first month...

No I was trying to be helpful. Otherwise I would have said have you put a call into the union?

I'm not sure what we can and can't do in our 1st year but they should have some helpful guidance.

Now relax and don't ever throw me in with bad company again.

You posted this on a Piedmont thread!

So did you make it passed the interview at Eagle, did you receive a conditional offer? And to answer your answer about flight hrs it varies. Depends on your seniority and how much flying is in open time (it varies). You could fly 10 hrs or you could fly 70 hrs.

LOL... why did you bid for a standby line? That must have been one brutal month. How often did they use you?
