I talked to Nate in recruitment about it today and he said I was locked in for the 22nd... A friend of mine went down the same road as me for the last class. He did the drug test only 5 days before his class.

I tried to get in the Nov 8 class and I did the drug test one week and a half before the class and got the call another week and a half before the test.

Lucky you.

You left Dallas CRJ Displacements as well.

After this bid SJU is down to:
33 FOs
46 CAs

DFW CRJs:
28 FOs
37 CAs

and LGA is overstaffed by 14 ERJ FOs

I definitely could see a displacement coming in the future, hopefully it will be in conjunction with another massive vacancy bid.

That is correct, but as Magic was implying there are a lot of things up in the air regarding Eagle staffing in the immediate future. Mainly the DFW CRJ base and SJU ATR base. The company has stated they are eliminating the DFW CRJ bid status and it will be a matter of time before they have to run a displacement bid for those pilots. When they displace those DFW CRJ pilots they might force a newhire out of his/her position even if they are still in training. If you were awarded DFW ATR FO on Day 1 of training, then there was a big displacement bid you could be forced out of your position even before you finished IOE.

As of now, there havent been any displacements so nothing is for sure and the company has also stated they are trying to minimize the displacements by offering lots of vacancy bids (upgrades). Just an FYI for those who are entering training right now.

I think the company might be waiting to see how many guys will be going to AA in the upcoming months before they put out a displacement.

Well thats why I'm relaxed and unworried, whatever a new hire gets its better than nothing. So let's hope for the best for everyone.

See you guys in class.

Ps: my friend who is in training right now called me and told me that je heard that this class will have 50 persons. =S
