Just like the sign behind the bar that say "Free beer tomorrow!" we need one for Eagle that says "Big announcement next Friday!"

American will expand its presence in present and new markets with there new enhanced interline agreements with Jetblue, WestJet and our new partner Republic (Frontier).

We will be accepting JAL B777's at AA but increase the parking of S80's as we now can cover the domestic market with interline agreements.

AE is spun off to the AMR shareholders. Shareholders will get 25% in the new AE for there stock split. Immediately BA/IB and Jetblue each will buy 25% of the new AE and AMR will have 25%. The remainder will be held buy the shareholders. The new AE will enter in long term feed for AA and there new subdivision will enjoy an interline agreement similar to Jetblue. AE is already a oneworld member and will continue with enhanced feed to our oneworld partners, especially now with the new ATI with BA/IB and JAL.

CRJ or ERJ ORD. If offered both as a new hire which would you choose and why? Does one have a better schedule? Longer reserve? Reserves getting used? Etc... Thanks

Default To Go or Not to Go

I was hired at Eagle in 08 and was based in BOS which was great because I live in NH. I'm based in ORD now and I actually got my first line this month (thanks xmas) and hope to at least get a composite next month. I have about 250 under me now company wide.

Question

I have an interview with a fractional to fly PC12s out of NH. Most of you know who I'm referring to. I've weighed the pro's and con's about each job. Money, QOL, future of each company.

I'm torn between leaving eagle now for supposedly greener pastures.

If I leave now how many think I may regret it with the movement we're seeing at Eagle?

Are these the last golden days of AE or is there a decent future ahead?

Tuff call. I've flown a PC-12, great airplane.

>How would the commute be to JFK/LGA for you? (CRJ or ERJ?)
>What are your long term goals? Majors? Corporate? Fracs?
>What is the pay/schedule advantage at the PC-12 outfit?
>Do you have a family?

I know of people over here in the west coast that fly/manage PC-12's and make $90-150K a year. I think its a great airplane to network into a corporate job, as many owners begin flying fractionals to get a taste of owning. Plus PC-12's don't require large suitcases for the most part.

Best advice I ever heard from a former Eagle Captain was, "Get out of Eagle as soon as you can, never be blinded by the word "seniority", since that will hold you back from advancing your career". He's now a Captain on a Gulfstream G4 and Citation based in San Diego making twice the pay he would have earned at Eagle and spends more time at home.

Everybody's situation is different, just weigh the pro's and con's and you'll make the right decision for yourself.

Why would BA/IB want to touch AE? What value would that give them? I can possibly see Jetblue buying in since they could profit on our routes, and if Eagle is spun off, is Executive on its own?
