Amen, amen.....

Life is about family, friends, leisure then work. One day it's all gonna end and I can assure you youre gonna be remembered for the person you are and not because you flew a 767. Take a deep breath and smile. Things could be much much worse.

P.s. I'm concerned that evryone took my previous post seriously....block30 need to put the contradictory posts in check and quit inventing drama or ill will that was never said.

Everyone go drink a beer.

I did. Black and Blue (Guinness and Blue Moon). I highly recommend it. Helps keep perspective in check!

Possible Furlough

So I'm not trying to spread any doom or gloom. But I was wondering about the last time Eagle furloughed.

How many got furloughed?

How long were they out?

What type of travel benefits did they have (if any)?

Hoping for the best but preparing for the worst.

I was one of the 71 furloughed the last time Eagle furloughed, we were furloughed half in May 2009 and Half in June 2009, recall classes were Jan-April 2010, We had full travel benefits (like a retiree) no CASS....I think for up to 2 years

This isn't the same situation at all though. Remember, Eagle is profitable. That said, it's always good to be prepared for the worst.

I can't imagine even IF the f word happened, it would be for very long. It is too bad the hiring spigot got turned off though.

Expect DFW ATR's to be gone within a month. Writing is on the wall everywhere.

Well unfortunately it's not a matter of if, it's a matter of when is it going to start.
