Living on Maui since 2003. Writing, selling real estate (or trying to), although the economy has just forced me to close my mainland business after 27 years, so I don't know the next steps. If you'd like to check out my latest book, go to amazon.com and search my name or first book - you know who I am and what the first book was - and you'll find my newest novel. Hope you are doing well, and I do wish the best for all the good folks at Eagle, but this group of whiners sure isn't what we were back in the day. *** happened?

According to the Eagle forum, people in the Dec 5th class have been sent home... according to our contract language that is considered furlough.

It has begun.

Just heard the Dec 5th new hire class was told not to return next week (they are at home for CBT this week). I guess it's starting. Time for a beer or two.

According to the contract, are they not required to have written writing 30 days prior to being furloughed? Section 16 (2)

How many grievances do we have pending?, the company regularly does what it wants without regard to the contract. We are bankrupt, and they will do whatever they want if it saves them money so I wouldn't be surpassed if they furlough out of order based on equipment and bases. We are a single pilot group, one list but they can just get rid of us the ATR guys, thats the rumor going around right now. It sucks but management will continue to try to control cost and they have found a way to screw the employees while increasing their wealth. It's very sad that America has become what its become!

Have you been "f'ed" as many times as you used "I" in your post. Also, does f'ed mean furloughed or the other? Cause if you work at Eagle And have been furloughed 4 times you must really love airplanes...
