The decision to start parking airplanes is pure arrogance by AMR, not customer service. If the customer experience was paramount, there would have been newer aircraft phased in before now through Eagle. This is management so sure of scope relief coming that they are proceeding with their slash-and-burn agenda. I predict a day of reckoning for them though- someone is going to have to explain to the judge/SEC, etc why they have $8bil in cash, not the 4.1 they claimed going into Ch11. Also it's going to be interesting how they justify ****ing away all the APA concessions on non-producing equipment like flat sceen tvs at all the gates, and granite countertops, etc. I hope they get what they deserve (but they probably won't). |

Results??? They haven't even posted a displacement bid yet, unless I am missing something! The union met with management on Tuesday to discuss manning issues and get an update on bankruptcy but here we are 48 hrs later and the union hasn't updated us on sh!t.
