With the PBS we're about to get, you won't be getting any training conflicts or DTS either... Get ready to spend ALOT more time away from home.

Debatable. PBS would not be the end of the world.

It doesn't have to be the end of the world, but I'll bet you that the days of getting a week + off over transition are over, and that when you have recurrent which you used to bid a conflict for, will now be a four day trip, one day off, recurrent, one day off, and then a four day trip. DTS- fogetaboutit. Your one week of vacation will be immediately preceeded and followed by four day trips.

PBS is all about "productivity," and to them, that means you are at work, even if it's a lost weekend in any host of cities.

Thats because you are junior...... If you have ever had to deal with PBS you would change your mind.... I had 87 hour credit last month with 16 dayss off thanks to conflicts

its either get PBS, or they will throw up their hat and give the flying to someone who does, no more paying mr. savy pilot six figures to work 600 hours a year because he is good with the contract
