There a some turns like pit, cle, ind, clt, and a few more. They are long but most of them are do one turn then go to Chicago for the rest of the 4 day. Just seems like there isn't much flying that stays in the Miami system.

Miami base wont be gone for atleast 5 years. Management is too stubborn to know if something doesn't work, look at jfk emj base (im not say that the mia emj base isnt doing good though)

I prefer to get the mia/emj class. at 23 years old, what do you think my chances of getting that are in the next class?

I have a feeling classes are getting younger and younger. I was a August class and 23 was enough to send you ATR/SJU. However now it probably is enough to get you on a jet which means maybe MIA not right off the bat, but should get it if the vacancy bid ever comes around (seems less and less likely each day).

There is no way to know what the base/equip slots will be for each new class. Hope for the best; plan for the worst.

franks right on, however ATR is going to keep shrinking, and SJU is the main part of that shrinkage. Therefore your odds of ATR SJU are becoming next to none. The age of new hires is shrinking, so 23 is 2 years above 21, thus in your favor. Also, MIA EMJ has been super junior in classes. I think ATR MIA or EMJ MIA are great options at your age.

Come play on the ATR for a year, the flying is great (besides Dallas) you will probably fly a jet the rest of your life. Then after flying the ATR your head will fit in the jet!!!
