They wait until you pass the RJ class, then ATP will advertise on their website that Eagle hired you right after you completed the RJ course... Losers, I hate corporate America.

Did you interview yet?

That seems bigger news than Sunday night football.

Eagle is an awful place to come right now. IF you can do not come here. WE are in for an awful 2012. Please someone explain otherwise, but I think we are ffffffd.

You need to do a little history lesson of how AMR/AA/AE operate, how they have negotiated in the past, and the games they play....

Your MEC did the right thing... for a change.

You guys are actually in a much better position than most in the industry.

The 1st email they sent out about this seemed to imply that the MEC was giving up on negotiations, but in the last few days I've heard it's the opposite. Which one is it?

The MEC rejected the TA which means all negotiations broke down. That doesn't mean that all parties can't come together again and start negotiations back up. AMR will need a new proposal this time...

The sky is not falling folks. Eagle is in a very good position right now. AMR knows it can't replace all of Eagle's flying which is why they were trying to lock us in to that 8 year "deal". They want to have their cake and eat it to.

Luckily the MEC threw it back at them and said NO. The best thing for us now is to wait until 2013 to negotiate a new contract. By that point AMR and other airlines will not have any leverage to strong-arm pilots the way they do now.

They realize this which was the whole reason they attempted to shove this TA down our throats so quickly.

Anyone know how long before you can hold a line in SJU? How's life in SJU? (Yes, I used to search function. Read quite a bit but most of the posts seem to be a couple years old). Does anyone have any suggestions on weather it would be worth it too move there? If so what are some good areas to move to?

So who all is in the 24th class?

Only ATR, which is projected to begin being parked since they are old. Most people avoid it though so its a short RSV time. 5 months or less right now, but could change due to shrinking. NY isnt the easiest commute from SJU if you go for the mainland.

Any idea on how they are going to cover the routes in the islands once all the ATR's are parked? What's the timescale before they are all parked anyways?
