You're a better person now because of it too. What you learned in the Navy can't be bought by mommy and daddy.

Who's in class next monday??------

Class? Is that before they file BK or after? You should be reading headlines then worrying about class. AMR should shirk about 20% under BK stopping any flow from Eagle. AMR guys won't leave when their pensions get screwed causing them to hang around just a bit longer. I honestly think those who've been hired should be fine. This 700 2012 number should get wipe out during BK. I do think under BK over the next 1-2 years AMR will have to, and will want to park a lot of 135's. If this happens all bets off for new hires.

i think everyone is over reacting

You think so. Ask any regional pilot how Bk affected their progress and pay and tell me. The majority will tell you dark news. The ones that had a positive experience were the wolfs that came in and took jobs away.

Of the four in my class, 3 of us moved down and 1 commutes direct on UPS.

Relax Francis,
4 billion cash, 1.2 billion debt due next year. Picture not bright but certainly not cataclysmic-YET.

Contract question

So I have a reserve assignment that has a 6 hour sit before the overnight. Am I required to stay within a certain distance to the airport (in case of reassignment) or can I go home for awhile.

Thanks,

TC
