I loved that airplane when I flew it it the mid 90's. Best turboprop I ever flew. Big, roomy, comfortable and quiet cockpit.

Don't know of any other aircraft type that would have me do an enroute return, diversion, and a ground evacuation in the first 4 months of flying it.

For those of you who have been or are currently going to AE class, I'm wondering if its worth it to drive to DFW for training just to have my own transportation rather than relying on the hotel shuttle. I'm in Cali so it'll be a full day of driving for me.

I dont like the hotel we get put in. I got put at the park inn, which rocks, but is only used when the school house is packed. I then got moved to the normal hotel, and it was terrible after being at the park.
The people at the normal hotel are jerks about taking you places, and the times they pick you up at the school house after normal hours suck. The park inn is really awesome, I wish we would use it as the main hotel. |
