Make a jump where

Pinnacle = hmm loosing airplanes
Republic = getting Q but parking 50 seaters
Sky West = slowing the hiring
Expressjet = looks like is slowing the hiring as well
Silver = Same as above
TSA = Who know what's happening there

It's easy for people to say go ahead and jump ship but where do you go that will be a step up or lateral move at least, Delta wants to park the 50 seaters at a fast rate it seems and this will send more guys to the street. Who says that one regional has a better chance to get the flying, who says the flying is leaving here. Hasn't management being trying to divestify the feed since they brought all the carriers operating under Eagle together in 97. Not saying it's not going to happen, it could happen and likely happen but look around and see what others are doing. They seem to be consolidating their feed. But again right now there isn't a regional who is immune to trouble in the horizon.

How much attrition has happened since AMR filled for chapter 11 and Eagle stopped hiring?

Machwon not to start a back and forth argument but it seems that all Regional will be structuring over the near future, the majors will seek to shed some of the lease and drive our contracts further down, Eagle and Pinnacle are doing it! Republic said they were looking at restructuring to save around 80 million just like Eagle and Pinnacle and now look at SKW! Please read below, the industry is a mess and there will be pain and changes for all of us.

It's now being reported on the "Eagle" forums that a non-pilot employee (crew coordinator) is handing out proxies in favor of the ORD LEC chair. If true and this is at the direction of the company, that would be blatent interference in union election matters. If it was at the direction of ALPA using non-union company personnel and the company didn't stop this, it would be an indication of collusion against those which ALPA has a duty to fairly represent.

It's clear to me this situation has spiraled WAY beyond the minimum level of evidence required for a DFR suit against the current Eagle MEC and ORD LEC. In fact, it's reported there also that ALPA national officers (one in particular) are aware of this activity and have allegedly done nothing but support this conduct and thus if true, IMO should also be included in a DFR suit. Why Eagle pilots have not contacted a labor attorney and proceeded with aggressive DFR action against Eagle ALPA is beyond my comprehension. The level of hopeless apathy must be staggering there. If no one is going to stand up to this, then IMHO, you guys DESERVE what you get. EVERY Eagle pilot in EVERY domicile should see this as totally unaccpetable. YOU are the stewards of your union !

As it stands now, it sounds to me as though Eagle pilots have been flat-out hijacked and seem more then willing to sit quietly back in the cabin looking out the windows awaiting their fate.

if your ORD based and work for AMR EAGLE and have not filled out a proxy and given it to the NY LEC reps trying to oust these idiots in ORD (along with a long list of pilots helping them who are ord based). These 2 are the ones that swing the voting power to team tony, you need to get your ducks in order and end this wild fire.

Talkairline makes it a 10 seconds process to have a proxy vote to save our union.
