I have no idea about the email list I was just talking to him in the crew room asking how it was going. Maybe your right but, 250 is a big number almost 25% of the base.

If these two are not recalled, its going to create a system wide disgust towards our union. People will feel they were ripped off. This is not the time for people to be wanting to boot ALPA. This is in everyones best intest to just recall these two.

alright well I've had my head in the sand apparently, can someone explain to me (besides the inappropriate email sent out by frank) what exactly have they done or not done that warrants them getting kicked out of office? I've heard various stories but am looking for FACTS...someone please explain. Much appreciated

Why would it create system wide disgust towards ALPA? They are the ORD reps and if the pilots of ORD want them recalled then they will be recalled but if the pilots of ORD don't want them recalled then they will not be recalled. I really don't care what the pilots of any other base think about what is happening in ORD.

Some of the recall group will tell you they want him recalled because he hasn't had a LEC meeting in 10 months. The problem is almost of the people saying that have never been to a LEC meeting. Some will say he is a puppet for Tony. The problem with that is he has ran against Dave R and and didn't vote for Tony. In short he needs to have meetings more often but outside of that I can't think of anything he has done that warrants recall.

sending out that email, voting to allow the union to have alcohol on meeting bills coming out of union funds, not holding a meeting in fear of recall, and his support for team tony. This union is the ones that sold out ouf scope and gave up all our EMBs last summer for hopes of maybe getting us all to AA someday. That seems to work great. Same clowns that came up with that TA last fall, and will not fight at all in this CH11 process. Its time for new faces in this union, because almost everyone I fly with, many of which volunteer for the union, are really sick of the MEC and fear the union is just a management puppet. I would not be surprised if someone tries to vote ALPA out down the road, and the fuel for that fire will be the ORD LEC, esp. after this scam LEC meeting at a baseball game!!!!!!

That is a good question, but we are still a good bit off from having to worry about that. If they are recalled at the LEC meeting all that means is it will be put to a LEC vote. Then if one of both are recalled by a full LEC vote then Bob K (God help us) becomes the whole voting block for LEC 133. Bob K will then call a LEC meeting to nominate replacements and vote on temporary reps. Then the people that got the two most nominations will be put on the ballot and the LEC will vote on the new reps.
