Never asked for it to be tabbed, just check rides. I assume they want you semi current, def legal, but I am not sure what your fully asking.

Well
I am tabbing my checkrides and I'm just making sure it's all good. Question.. When I went to SIMCOM to get my Citation training, I took an FAA checkride to get my SIC type. It was in a sim, and I got a new certificate. But I didn't actually log any of that sim time so how can I tab that one? |

Did you log that sim trainin gin your book? And did anybody sign your logbook whle you were there?
|
I never logged any training at flight safety. Just tab all your checkrides. Private, Instrument, etc... that's what they are looking for.

Just tab your check rides. If you are missing a signoff, don't worry about it. Your certificate and training records will verify what you have. Make sure if you have done anything like transferring your logbook to a new one, or have redone it to make it look better, that you bring the one with your endorsements with you. If you have multiple logbooks, make sure they are all totaled. Make sure you follow the instructions on the paperwork, and your times match up. You will end up putting flight times in about 3 different places, so don't have discrepancies. Keep everything organized and make sure you bring what they tell you to bring. One of the biggest things they are seeing is people failing to disclose check ride failures correctly. They aren't as unforgiving as some of the gouges and posts make it seem, but not doing this properly WILL get you sent home. Make sure you list exactly what is asked for (date, check ride failed, location, aircraft type, examiner etc) If you failed the same check ride twice, that IS two failures. You need to list them both.
Finally, read the gouges on WFFF and AI. They are dead on, and have no surprises. They know you are reading them, and that's kind of the point. It's been a few years since I have personally been through the process, but I know the people over at HQ doing the interviews and converse with them regularly about the hiring stuff. |
