As much as i'd like to help resolve this question, i'm just going to add another one to it.
Currently @ the pre-offer of employment process with eagle (passed the interview):
Should I worry about the fact that i'll probably need a BFR before I take a line check or SIC type rating or just wait for one of the appropriate 121 training events to supersede said BFR? Any opinions or hard facts?

If I where you I would do the BFR. There's nothing you can loose...just a couple of $$$ but its your career.

$200-250/mo, there are a few with access to public buses, or close enough to the employee lot to walk and take the employee bus. I know there are a lot of people looking for MIA crashpad info since we are just opening the MIA ERJ base (myself included) but best bet will be to check the crew room when you get there to do IOE. There are always postings on the bulletin board for pads.

They're not going to have any idea that you're not current in training, nor do you need to be. Let Eagle pay, your SIC type ride will count as a BFR, save your pennies. You'll need every last one to survive first year pay!

hey do we know if eagle has any issues with applicants hours being a mix of CFI/Traffic watch? I know some companies don't count traffic watch or pipeline patrol as hours.

legal PIC time is LEGAL pic time I would assume. I have jump time and no one has had a problem anywhere.

Just out of curiosity where and more importantly WHY is pipeline/traffic not counted?

QUESTION!

If a pilot has long term training the 13th, or 14th..does that pilot still get to bid for a monthly schedule of his soon to be former equipment?

for example DFA awarded DFE...does he/she get to bid for Feb on the ATR, even though they're leaving halfway through the month? Is there a date cutoff?

What about a guy starting EARLY in the month? (first week)

can't find it in the contract..hoping someone here knows!

I had been told by a credible source that he has seen a couple airlines asterisk that pipeline patrol isn't accepted as credible time building hours.
