Default Question for pilots in Pinnacle / SkyWest?

SkyWest pilots : Do you have a base where there is a single code share flights?
Pinnacle Group pilots: Do you get CO benefits if you are on the jet side or do you get DL benefits at Colgan?

Thank you

But Colgan is also under their umbrella. Probably why the original poster asked this.

"Pinnacle Pilots" (For clarification: The guys flying the CRJs), work for Pinnacle Airlines Inc. The guys flying the props, work for Colgan Air.
Both of the previous entities are owned in full by Pinnacle Corp.
The guys who work for Pinnacle Air Inc. are Delta Connection and ONLY get Travel benefits on Delta ... OAL travel is by jumpseat or ZED.
Prior to the DL/NW merger, Only Pinnacle Pilots who flew the CRJ-900 were eligible for Delta Pass Travel but still retained their NW travel...

Rama you had good information for the original question. Please see though that he did ask Pinnacle Group (I am assuming not just Pinnacle Airlines). Your clarification of who gets what travel benefits is appropriate.

Where this could be confusing is examples like Alaska Air Group. I work for Horizon but my travel benefits are for both Alaska Airlines and Horizon Air. Except that each is wholly owned by the Air Group so it is not necessarily a direct comparison to the other operations. Just showing where it might be confusing for someone not directly in the loop.

Splanky,
I dont work for Colgan so, I cant speak of their benefits.
He did ask, "Pinnacle Group pilots: Do you get CO benefits if you are on the jet side or do you get DL benefits at Colgan"

Well its an 'OR' question so I answered the side of the question that I know about...
No Pinnacle Pilots do not get benefits on CO/UA/US (Airlines that Colgan flies for)

The issue here is , what regionals have travel benefits depend on the codeshare they fly. What is the relationship between holding company vs. individual airlines and the codeshare partners..

I don't want to discuss what benefits are better , that's a subject for a different thread. Trying to get a better idea on the original question I posted might help us all.. I think, CJC people should get DL benefits as well, since their holding company is a DL partner. I think RAH pilot flying out of ORD should get DL benefits too. I don't know much about the ExpressJet benefits and how they are set up for UA side, but this might help pilots on that side of the house as well..

I am after some concrete information that is going to benefit MECs all across the airlines..

I think the SKW pilots based who were based in MKE got Midwest bennies only.

I think certain pilots who support our airtran operations may have the option of taking airtran bennies but only if they give up UA and DL. Something like that.

SKW has always fought for and justified dual travel benefits for flight crew based on the fact that pretty much all us of flow between both systems. Some folks more so than others, at some bases it would be possible to bid only DL or UA flying if you wanted to to but that's not the norm.

If we open another base which only supports one codeshare, those people might be limited to the one partner for nonrev (you can always do ZEDs).

Back when we had the MKE base, those pilots had the same bennies we all had. UA, DL and YX. I used to live in PHL, was based in ORD and would sometimes pick up trips out of MKE and I had priority on YX and SKW operated YX connect flights over Air Wisconsin and USairways guys trying to get to and from MKE.

Currently my understanding is that DEN and ORD based pilots may get Airtrain bennies when they become available because those are the two bases who get flowed into the AirTran Codesharing system, however they won't forfeit their UA/DL priviliges.
