We did have some FO's that were furloughed from RAH that were called back. I hadn't heard of anyone going to RAH as a new hire (after they wanted a two year training contract?) but if they were hired I'm glad they found work. |

DOH isn't based on the most junior CA. I'm no CA and I was here before Lynx even existed. So yes DOH would probably put Lynx after the most jr person. What's the most senior DOH at your company?

So you guys agree ALL Midwest pilots should get DOH too? |

Let me spell it out clearer for you... Our first class was Jan/07 and your most Jr CA was hired Jan/07... so if we were integrated based on DOH our Sr pilots could bid for the next upgrades and possibly get it? The previous poster said all of lynx was hired after all of the RAH pilots were hired. Maybe when the bulk of FO's were hired... but not all below the most Jr RAH FO. The first 2 classes averaged 8+ yrs 121 but were tired of commuting. So now we are all to be FO's and commute to the East coast? No thanks.

No hiring going on. Just recalls. Recalls are now coming from the XY and Lynx guys now. We can move between certificates, but certain rules must be followed.

Don't make the mistake that I'm talking about how I think integration should go. Not voicing my opinion at all. Honestly with my job here, trying to start my side business, and several other things there's simply no way I'd have the time to completely assess the situation. My response was in direct response to yours. For some reason you're mentioning the most junior CA and then saying DOH should be used. I was simply pointing the fact that most FO's here have more longevity than any CA there. You should broaden your scope if DOH is your reasoning.
BB told Lynx "I will grow Lynx or combine you with another certificate". F9 was told "I will keep your operation separate". Midwest was told their pilots would be flying their routes. Excuse us for being edgy. |

You think I used DOH reasoning? Nope. I tried to leave my sarcasm out when I said "I wouldn't put money on DOH"... maybe thick sarcasm would have helped. I was correcting a previous posters incorrect knowledge of when myself and other unemployed Lynx pilot were hired. Doesn't matter what WE think about integration anyway.

1. we dont have 12 year FOs and our pay scale only goes up to 4 years.
2. our contract was written and signed before a single jet over 50 seats was on property. 3. Almost the entire lynx group was hired after the most junior person on our list. So if given "date of hire" most would be at the bottom of the list regardless. 4. we have been told that 9 Lynx pilots (along with 27 midwest) have been hired and will be given "temporary seniority numbers (at the bottom)" until the SLI is complete and then have an "adjusted seniority number" when the arbitration is complete. Okay I stand corrected..... first year $21 second $31 third $34 fourth $37 fifth $37 sixth-twelfth $37 Absolutely amazing. And there is no excuse for the "we didn't have jets, and we have no twelve year F/Os" mentality. That pay scale is an embarassment and an insult to every airline pilot flying today. |
