Absolutely amazing. And there is no excuse for the "we didn't have jets, and we have no twelve year F/Os" mentality. That pay scale is an embarassment and an insult to every airline pilot flying today.

Yes it is an insult to every airline pilot flying today. It wasn't when it was negotiated though. You also have to look at other items included in the contract that are invaluable like a single seniority list.

BB says a lot of things. But as long as he goes to Confession and says his penance before he takes Communion he is still guaranteed a place in Heaven.

As for the "new hire" Lynx and YX guys, BB will say penance and be forgiven by God for that, too. RAH management never ever does anything they don't think will result in immediate cost savings.

Chance- Albert Einstein said that the definition of insanity is repeating a behavior expecting different results. It is already too late on this thread, but you should stop anyway.

Sounds like the talking points of Mesa guys when they ended Freedom. I don't think anyone out there buys the whole we only had 50 seaters when we signed the contract because the language allowed up to 99 seats.

You're speaking a little prematurely, wait until your branded flying actually turns a profit. By the way, nice touch, don't hold back on showing the world how pompous you guys really are, you've only ruined a couple of thousand families.

So with this mentality, I should hate American Airlines for buying TWA and ruining my family. Also I should hate Southwest for running the fares so low that American cannot compete and recall my parents. Gotcha..... that makes complete sense now. Well I guess I should not like all the other airlines for ruining other people families like mine and never jump seat on them again, because they are all horrible people and should be judged by who they fly for. silly me.

Don't worry about the training contract, because they have not enforced it since I’ve been here. Not sure how HR was at Lynx, but at Republic they’re not very organized. I’m sure you could come up with a creative name to use... BTW the Jan 07 upgrade is on reserve in GRR, on the 135. Good luck

So if that is an embarrassment, how would you explain the lynx rates? Last time I checked, RAH emb 135 captains make more than lynx 70 something seat Q400 captains,or at least about the same.

And that pay scale is virtually every regional pay scale contract signed back when the industry was slow. Lynx people chose to go fly for sub rah rates in 2007 when everyone was hiring. Southwest captains make 200k a year to fly a 737, United guys make 120k to fly an airbus virgin america even less, how about go express your outrage at them.

Look at the original thread response by minimum wage. He clearly states that the Lynx guys will have a great future at Republic. And as far as you being a DL/NWA 74 captain I highly doubt that. I looked at your previous posts about looking for work at Fedex and UPS and your only other posts refer to Republic issues. I guess dimwits can dream though.
