What are the screen names of the 9E union repors who post here. I am not a regular follower nor reader here but have recently tuned in to this discussion. I am in disbelief that their union reps are participating in these forums and I'd like to see what it is they are posting. I guess I have to see it to believe it. I'm not asking for their real names rather just the screen names they use here as everyone seems to know who they are. Good luck to all of you.

CAPTAINPCL I didn't read a single line in any of those posts and i'm sure most others won't either. What was going on back in 1731 doesn't really have any weight on what is happening with these Joint negotiations just as what happened back in 2006 doesn't. I know it is hard to remove yourselves from the emotional aspects of that really rough time but for the betterment of everyone involved, that additional 1700+ pilots who are directly involved, and the countless 1000's who will benefit at other companies, you really need to take a step back and understand what is going on. Over that same period of time you were in section 6, 9L pilots were working under even worse work rules and yet they can remove that emotion and work toward the future. I really wish the 9E staff would be able to do the same.

Congratulations serickson, instead of having 1250 pilots mad at you, you were able to make 3000 pilots mad at each other.

disention is a measure of leadership, or lack thereof....... Regardless of what happened in the past, if we can't all stick together, mgmt will pick us apart one by one

I'm amazed that anyone thinks that this company is negotiating in good faith, especially with all of the previous evidence to the contrary.

this will be my second and probably last post on this thread, but I disagree. Nobody is doubting that PNCL did not negotiate in good faith. That is tried, true and tested. However, they did not negotiate in good faith with "You."
That does not mean they will not negotiate in good faith with all three airlines. This has yet to be proven. Your MEC and your negotiators worked with PNCL management in the past, but now there are three MEC's and three sets of negotiators working on the JCBA. Everybody feels your pain, and can understand why your pilot group feels like they are reliving the past, but there are more than 3000 pilots now depending on the JCBA to get completed. It would be in our best interest to work together to see this JCBA finished.

I'm not going to post anymore on this topic. It just gives MGMT more fuel for the fire. As long as they see we are split, they will not feel the need to meet our terms of agreement. PT probably sat at home wearing an ascot and drinking brandy laughing his ass off at the 10 pages of bickering that came up just yesterday. Berating each other, other airlines, MEC leadership or anything else on a public web forum lacks professionalism and is only detrimental to the entire group. Overall, i think everyone needs to remain level and remember that if you wouldn't say it in person, why say it online? It just make professional pilots look like a bunch of bickering kids. my .02

Looking back at history is often a good way to tell what's going to happen in the future.

I am one that is hoping history does not repeat itself.

you normally have decent posts but this is not one of them.:p If anything is seemingly driving 9e guys away it is this non factual rumor and the "we haven't been negotiating very long give it time management wants it too" bs fromm the xj/9l side, and their seemingly inablilty of some xj/9l types to be willing to learn/listen to the history of our lessons learned. Even everyone at the picket wants a JCBA

because your MEC came out and said "we do not support this action" and told you not to walk with us. And now you are tearing us apart for doing it.
