The exception for the ATR is by specific aircraft serial number I believe.

I like the condescending tone... it is... sophomoric...
Lets assume Eagle gets delivery of unlimited amounts of A320s tomorrow. What routes do you propose we operate them on? Good luck competing against jetBlue in their backyard (east coast/northeast) and good luck competing against VX/SWA/etc on the west coast. That leaves American Eagle A320s with Chicago-Peoria. Yep, solid business plan...
guess you thought that one out though....

You still aren't seeing the big picture are you... if they can transfer Eagle routes and slots to an interline provider, they can transfer AA routes and slots....
so, to answer your question of what routes do I think the larger Eagle will be flying... I'll simply say, go look at the AA domestic route structure for your answer.

I certainly hope so, however the more likely result will be that in the interest of protecting their own jobs, they will "make a deal." The precedent is already there... they have been closing AA stations for YEARS already, and opening Eagle stations to do the same work under contract to AA, but for lower wages and worse work rules... that's fact.
When they close the station and give you the choice of unemployment or taking the same job, but for Eagle... which will you do? When you refuse, how long in this economy do you think it will be before they have a line of people begging for that job.
By the way, name calling is a violation of TOS

Apparantly I must add "delusional" to the list of words that are offensive. Got a stern warning from Tony Williams. No wonder the profession is where it is. We must be the most thin skinned generation of ninnies that the piloting profession has ever seen. God help us......

Is cry baby, panzy, crack pipe, your wrong, wet behind the ears, newbie, considered offensive?

I don't think the warning was for using words like those, it was using them directed at a person, in other words calling people names... should we be grown up enough to survive the occasional name calling, I'd think so... but the powers that be - on this BBS anyway - say differently. It is nice to see it work the other way though, usually I'm the one getting the warning.
Still doesn't change the fact that AMR has found a way around scope...
the other union contracts do not prohibit interline agreements either, so the theory that the mechanics or some other union besides the pilot union will stop it is a false one.
