PBS sucks (especially for the bottom half of the list)

To the OP - the proper question should be: Who doesn't schedule 6 days in a row?

Here, its known as "Comair Standard". Our contract gives us 11 days off, a group of 3 hard days and a group of 4 hard days, along with 4 movable soft days.
The norm here seems to be: 6 on, 1 off, 6 on, 3 off, 3 on, 4 off, 3 on, 1 off, 2 on, 2 off (or something close).
The best ones are when your last two weeks of a month are 6 on-1 off-6 on, then your next month starts with 6 0n-1 off-6 on!
Oh well, 800-900 of us won't have to worry about it much longer, I guess

At PSA it can because of the blend (Transition) from one month to the next. Or because of holidays, training etc...
Many international airlines schedule 10-15 day trips. You get your required 24 hours free of duty each seven days at a layover station.

Comair, 6 days on reserve or back to back 3 days (or other permutation of trips) for line holders.

Compass does 6 days as well.

Must have 2 days off between RSV blocks, but you can waive it if you so choose. No one does.

I've done 10 days. I did get 24 hours off in the middle though. Ended one trip at 430pm started next day at 500pm. And I'm a commuter. Basically, you can work all month long.

United does for domestic reserves. First time I got a six day, I longed for the good old days at TSA with a 4 day limit.
