I agree with everyone's point of view that our fearless leader should be current and at least fly a few hours a month not the horrible 95hrs 10days off (reduced to 6 days off) schedule. He needs to get a picture of how the guys really feel out there.... United had a massive sick out,...... and we could follow suit. American is famous for go slow or we could pull another ASA MX nightmare for Corporate, especially the week we are going into. The 9E pilots need guidance from their elected leader on what to do, but all we get is what not to do! This has to be a team effort not just a few individuals that the company can hang to dry.

Our reps aren't even allowed to drop trips or get bought off, a lot of times, and apparently the MEC chair is the only one...

word on the street is he bid CRJ900 CA and has been getting that rate without ever having stepped foot in the aircraft or completed qualification. It's all just nasty rumor but if so, is it kosher?

Our contract I believe only allows the buyout of 2 individuals.
Kosher ? In the 30 plus years I have been around the answer is yes most of the time.

Alright Higney, you put it in writing. You said it. We will hold you to it.

Three more days and a TA has to be in place by December 2nd, 2010 at 5:00pm.

Have you picked which media sources to use?

Have you picked which spot the picketing will occur at? Will it be on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day?

Yup, hold me to it. The mission this week is a TA of a JCBA. If the 3rd comes around without a TA this topic will be front and center.
