Default Pinnacle desperate for pilots...

Latest vacancy that just came out. 4 CA for JFK and 4 CA for ATL.

But the bigger news, the FO vacancies:

1 MEM
16 DTW
2 MSP
19 JFK
1 ATL

Total FO primary vacancy available: 39!

Almost 40 FO spots in one vacancy. Reminds me of 2007! Now if only the CA upgrades could be more than just 8 primary. Rumot has it upgrades will increase tremendously once the school house jam is cleared out.

All the more reason they have pressure to get this deal done...on our conference call today it sounds like Delta and United/COA are putting tremendous pressure on 9E to get staffing right or they would pull flying... they mentioned that within the last 6 months we've had 26 junior mans at XJ, and Colgan had 124 junior mans in the month of July alone...ball is in their court, let's see what play they call...

8 Captain vacancies is rediculous. I was talking to another captain in the crew room who says the last 2 months he has be junior manned down to 8 days off and called every single off day on top of that. And especially DTW, there should be more than 8 vacancies in DTW alone. I hope they do pull flying so our middle management morons get fired.

Roughly 4 junior mans/month at XJ and from the way you put it, that is high. 124 junior mans/month at Colgan, the norm. Rediculous!

There is no staffing problem at Pinnacle or Colgan. Their staffing models are excellent. The only reason those two airlines have staffing issues is because of 'unplanned absences'. BTW - You need Dr. Notes again because of the increase in unplanned absences.

I doubt a FL base...the added DAL stuff will only be 13 R/T's between OH and Pinnacle. Six or seven r/t's a day doesn't really warrant a base.

Is it Pinnacle's turn to do a MCO base for less than a year?

It's where the company forces you to work on your day off, and you either bend over and take it, or you go through hell and back to explain to them why you're not going to accept it. It's a joke of a system that companies have gotten all to familiar with abusing.
