Pinnacle desperate for pilots...

My understanding is that if you just ignore your phone on that day, you are safe and they cannot get you in trouble?

That we do. After our last flight (even as line holders) we have to check out on a computer or by phone. If there is an extension or junior assignment, we have to either notify or refuse. If you refuse, there will be a refusal meeting with a member of base management. I actually had one yesterday.

It continues to amaze me the amount of siht people are willing to go through to fly airplanes. Junior man's, having to "check out", airport ready for more than 4 hours, less than 12 days off a month, not to mention pay.....this industry makes me sick almost as much as the people who are willing to put up with this crap.
