MANAGEMENT wanted to be released too. That is how it happened. Seems the people who were hired after the shamruptcy forgot that was the entire reason they declared bankruptcy. It was because MANAGEMENT wanted something and they used bankruptcy to get it. Had nothing to do with the mesaba MEC.

So tell me this. Why are you so proud of the mesaba mec? Is it because during there watch nearly 2/3 of the pilot group got furloughed? Is it because during their watch they let the company file for a fake bankruptcy to get the contract that management wanted? Sounds like they are taking care of themselves at the top of the list while they leave the bodies of their fellow pilots along the path they have made. So nearly 5 years later you are just now getting back to the pre-bankruptcy contract? HA and you think we are the ones getting taken for fools.
They couldn't stop the furlough, they couldn't stop the bankrupcty and we were not released in bankruptcy, it wasn't section six.

Thats cool though.....you guys are still flying high with your 99 rules and rates

Or you can start over at the bottom of the eagle list or GOD FORBID the pinnacle list.
I turned down an offer once for the bottom of the 9E list and I would be happy to do it again.

LOL. You are working for pinnacle. Welcome aboard. You know where the door is if you feel to proud to be here.

You should go here and study up on mesaba's past. It might help you understand some. Educate yourself. http://www.mesabalabor.org/history.php

Thanks for sharing......but just looking at that, Mesaba asked the judge to block a strike, which he did, so I'm not sure where you are getting your facts. Actually I do know, but this site won't let me write it.

Thanks for that....and neither should you of 9E's past. Mesaba allowed Express guys to come over with some seniority during furloughs per the LOA. Did 9E recipricate in 01 and 05 when XJ was furloughing and 9E was hiring. NOPE. Even with the LOA both signed.

Gonna take a stab in the dark and say there were no assets being moved from one certificate to the other, therefore the LOA wouldn't apply.

But sure, I will sit back, its sure is nice to get two pay raises a year since hired. Maybe later I will try to explain to you how that feels
Well since you wanna play dirty, I'll enjoy living nicely off my CA pay while you hit 6 year FO pay and maybe even longer with the SLI. Thanks but I don't mind missing out on a $1-2 raise a year holding out for something that will benefit me in the long run.

You would make a terrible lawyer. If you are going to use a legal document to support your view, better know what that document says...

It's just awesome when someone who has been in the industry a whole 3 years tells someone who has been here 10 plus years how it was, how it is and how it will be
