2. The attempt at "enforcing" the LOA in 2005 was an attempt to bring pressure on Mesaba management. It was a b.s. claim from the beginning. If the Mesaba MEC thought otherwise, they could have taken it to the Mesaba System Board, as per the LOA. They didn't. That ought to tell you volumes about what the Mesaba MEC thought of their claim.
You have obviously bought into the crewroom mythology of your airline.

Wow, you must know everything. All hail the 10 year captain. Tell us 10 year captain, did you vote for that POS contract that 9E currently works under? "Hey I will give you 15 minutes free if that means I get to be a Capt.." What a joke.

He was responding to a guy who said that he had been in the airlines for three years and knew why pinnacle didn't have a ta. Mooney has been at pinnacle 10 years and that is more than 3 times the amount the other guy was talking about. Hence the reason he was mentioning his longevity so his answer would be more credible than the guy who knew it all in 3 years. so I guess we could say, "Wow you must know everything! All hail the 3 year fo. Tell us 3 year fo, did you vote for the bankruptcy contract that xj currently works under? Hey I will give you 15 minutes free if that means I get to be a capt." control yourself. roids cause rage and welcome to the pinnacle family. We are glad to have another happy family member!

was wrong about something they knew nothing about
because they weren't here!!
And since you seem to be such a know it all,
you should have realized that the 15 minutes
free/trip values were NOT in the original 99
contract. They were later added as LOA. Why do people on here feel the need to open their mouth about something they know nothing about? It just makes you look even more ignorant when you are called out and corrected on it. At least do a little research before posting/bashing. Plus i might get cheated out of 15 minutes once a month so personally it's not that big a deal to me there are bigger fish to fry.
Nice math too 2010 minus 10 years and u think
I voted on a 99 contract? Seriously don't you
have a better dead horse to beat Bigrig
rather than stand up for someone who knows
nothing about what they are talking about just
because they work with you? Didn't think you'd stoop that
low. And yes someone who has been here
10 years and lived it knows better than someone who has been here
3 years about what happened here 7 or 8
years ago don't kid yourself.

and your point? Just trying to stir the pot? You probably did them a favor since they were short staffed, less jm/extensions.

There was some of that, but the planes weren't taken by the XJ pilots. They were taken in a deal between 9E management and NWA as a means to try to force 9E pilots to cave on a mediocre deal. And IBPilot's right. I know my first response when they took those planes was "Thank god. Maybe they'll stop trying to JM and extend me now." We were losing close to 30 guys a month to other airlines at that time.
