Doesn't the DOT record on-time performance? There are some numbers over at BTS dot gov.

But the truth is, performance has been terrible to the point where Pinnacle is on the verge of defaulting on their contract and being in jeopardy with Delta. Hopefully management hasn't pushed things too far and a recovery is possible.

I'm really curious about the "defaulting on a contract." Not that I think you are wrong, but what would happen? If they just decided to cancel our contract who would take over the 124 or so 200's we have?

Oh yea. Those surprise snowstorms in Minnesota in December. Who'da thunk it?

Ask Comair who will "takeover" their 200s.

When did I say I was surprised? I just said that it managed to screw everyone up because of Delta's wanting everyone to fly every hub. Nothing more.

Well, much like Freedom, temporarily everyone will pick up a little of the slack with increased utilization. And within a few months that flying will simply be gone completely. Though with Comair and the longer lead time, that flying (and basically CVG with it) will simply be gone. Unfortunately I think MEM is next on the chopping block and well.... guess who is the Comair of MEM.

Airlines that carry less than 1% of the total passenger traffic are not required to report their ontime performance. When you look up the performance for PNCL you will only find PRASM, CASM and RASM.

If you have some further knowledge, why not share the stats instead of being a panzy! The original intent of this thread was to gather knowledge.
Mate,

I just told you where to get all the information you are requesting. Go review it yourself.

All the stats are listed. CF, D0, D5, A0, A15, DOT 15. This is for every DCI carrier.

Pinnacle doesn't report the stats to the DOT. Delta still tracks everything.

Cheers

I'd be curious to know that also. With the majors poised to start hiring and minimums for 121 on the horizon who would be able to even pick up Comair's flying? I'm not sure, but isn't the number of 200's being parked near the 90's? Even if its spread over all the DCI carriers, who could cover it? Republic and their 190's? I'd like to say mainline could take some back, but for some reason that doesn't seem likely. Pinnacle can barely get new hires through training. I'll be curious to see how we even cover the flying we're slated to add next year. Perhaps the on-time performance numbers will be replaced by cancelations like it did over the summer. What does our contract say about completition factor?
