This morning Arbitrator Bloch requested an updated seniority list from each airline’s merger committee. He advised us that he requires this information because he intends on releasing the new integrated seniority list along with his arbitrated decision. Your Merger Committee submitted the updated Colgan Air seniority list to Mr. Bloch at 9:30 am this morning. It is our understanding that as of now, Mr. Bloch now has all of the requested information from all three airlines.

We realize that this process may seem never ending; however we are in the final stages. Mr. Bloch’s decision is complete and the extra time needed to include an integrated seniority list, with the decision, is worth the small amount of extra time needed.

We will update you as soon as a decision is released.

Maybe its personal, I don't know, but I like the way the Colgan MEC is communicating way better than our guys. There's something in the tone that's seems more like a union rep then what we're getting. The past few emails for our guy seem more like an extension of the company.

Saab flying is getting dumped in LGA and DC... Wonder what this does to the Mesaba guys counting on those lines and us 9L fellas with SLI due any day now.

Ok so what's next? Anyone from any of the 3 groups know? Are we even talking today because I could totally see this thing getting stretched out another week or month

I'd say it would be nice to get another deadline but we all know it wouldn't be relevant anyways.

They are talking about the proposed slot swap between Delta and UsAir.

It will affect slots in LGA and National.

When it is approved, which could take months or years, but XJ must feel that it will happen because management put out a news release on it and said how it affects the Saabs in LGA.

Probably short term furloughs of new hires with a few months seniority. I'm guessing 9L has the most junior new hires.

They have stated it will probably take at least 18 months for approval so no major change anytime soon.

I think PNCL has quite a few new hires as well. Gotta love it, we have a merger creating almost a 3,000 pilot group with one seniority list to protect our jobs, and then we furlough. I do agree with you though, it will probably be short term. 50 pilots tops maybe? Lets hope this industry starts moving!
