The only dispute over any updated lists I can think of is the fact that 9E has 2 different lists now, one with their original DOH (when they finished checkride) and one with the day they started class.

That may have started a discussion.

My source is quite reliable.
You beat me to it.

I was just pondering though.

You are aware the class date/ hire date for 9E was settled back at the very beginning right?

I hope we're not paying this guy. This thing has been delayed 5 times now, talk about unprofessional. And it seems all our MECs are just saying it's OK. This guy is as bad as 9E/9L management and our union reps are just accepting it, makes me irate.

I have seen people on here state it, but did they have anything in writing or even verbal between the MEC's?

It sounds like that was the case, but Mesaba is trying to blow that up since it gives 9E guys about 6-8 weeks of seniority.

It was never settled on the merger level. It was settled on a contractual level with the JCBA.

There is indeed still an issue regardiing the Date of Hire of PCL pilots and how it apples to the requirements of the ALPA Merger Policy and not the JCBA

I would assume it would be a bad idea to get an attitude with or start to push the arbitrator.

You're the MEC of XYZ Airline's pilot group. You want it done now. "You need to quit delaying, we're not just going to accept this anymore." could very easily lead to an "Ok, it is really easy, fast, and simple to just staple you to the other airlines' groups."

Like it or not, everyone has to be nice to this guy and give him the time he needs.
