Only the Q, you know the future of PNCL.

Maybe you should go look at the SLI list before making asinine statements.

Count how many 9E guys are in the top 1000 of the list and pay particular attention to hire dates.

But just remember the grass is not alway greener , these are regionals we are talking about , things do shift quite a lot out of no where , look at go jets getting ASA aircraft !!!! Chuck Norris couldn"t have seen that one coming.

Unless you live in one of there bases I dont see a good enough reason to pull the plug just quite yet. Keep in mind we are still loosing people. I flew with a few captains last month who are hired by Fedex, just waiting on class dates, as of now they want to hire 500 and have only hired 88 , ( as of 15 days ago) you know with the good old guys club in Memphis we will loose a lot more to them. We have what some 190 mesaba flow through to delta when ever they may hire next for those who take it, Plus I jut spoke with a friend ground instructor 4 days ago in memphis and he said 9 E is hiring 18 every two weeks . So you ll even have more coming under neath you.

No one has the crystal ball roll your dice and pray that you made the right call.

Good luck which ever you choose .
I'd have to count to make sure, but I think there only about 80 guys that will flow to Delta from XJ now.
I am sure your right. I would never count on everyone makin the jump , but 80 is 80 numbers in the right direction.

I have to ask why?
Skywest has grown this year and could grow even more if they get the q400. Asa lost 8 and wll probably lose 6 more, xjt could lose 27 in april.
Also look at the bases, skywest (in my opinion) has the bettet bases and if there were to be a merger xjt/asa would try and snag sone positions in those.
Skywest has the brighter future as well a more diverse fleet and contracts.
So agaib I have to ask why? Why risk getting bumped out of a base that belongs to you and risk a furlough because of something at another airline?

Because that other airline is owned by the same parent company. And whipsaw. And one list is better for all pilots, especially long term.

It's the same crap. The only difference between you and I, is that you get to keep your paycheck.

Pilot for pilot, Pinnacle is being screwed.

As many have said, your decision should include a number of factors. I took a minute to compile some base info based on the latest SAPA numbers.

CRJ:

1. SLC 346
2. DEN 255
3. ORD 196
4. IAH 91
5. MSP 53
6. LAX 49
7. COS 44
8. TUS 32
9. FAT 32
10. SFO 31
11. SEA 23
12. PDX 23
13. PSP 19
---
?? PHX (80?) Possible future base

Total CRJ FOs: 1194 (Hiring)

EM2:

1. FAT 76
2. SLC 50
3. PDX 28
4. PSP 27
5. SBP 8 (Unique EM2)
6. SFO 4

Total EM2 FOs: 193 (Hiring)

I personally would be careful about making lateral moves unless one of these locations looks very appealing to you. You've got starting over (and the dreaded first year pay) to think about, not to mention the possibility of things changing. Hopefully, the numbers give you an idea of the strength and or availability of each base. There really isn't much better data to go by that I'm aware of.

I don't agree, when half of 9E's current group is in the top 3rd of the new company.

And then the turboprop FO grouping of the SLI went below all jet FO's.

Is there anyone around you that was hired 5 years after you?

I didn't think so.

Then explain to me why Pinnacle took the brunt of the displacements? Your position on the master list doesn't matter when it comes to upgrade, because XJ guys have ample room under your fences with more clearing out with flow.
