Could someone help me out? Im really trying to figure this all out but being new I havent learned everything completely yet. Being about # 90ish of the Saab Fos being displaced and 170ish people below me on the latest list, any chance of getting something different than the Saab? Of course there are many variables. The way I see it is they want 168 Saab FOs so if every Saab FO was the most junior 168, And I stayed on it I would be pretty darn SR correct, or not be on it at all. Hopefully I am looking at it correctly.
FYI I dont have SJS, just looking to make the regional life a little easier, $$$$$ and hopefully a 1 leg commute from the 2 legger.

The most senior captain displaced out of MSP was probably close to an 05 hire, not 02-04 like MEM..In MSP there was some more senior guys that took the voluntary displacement but then came back.

This vacancy is going to create 83 new Captain positions and 11 new FO positions.
You have no way of knowing where everyone will go, but 83 FO's will upgrade in front of you system wide, moving you up.
Bid where you want and see how close you get seniority wise.

You have to look at the final number of vacancy numbers after all the displacements.

3. First Officers
a. A First Officer may bid and be awarded a change of Domicile at any time.
b. A First Officer may not be awarded a change in Category (status and/or equipment) until:
i. Upgrade to Captain; or
ii. One (1) year after date of hire, to attain another First Officer position.
c. Following an award to a different aircraft as a First Officer, the Pilot may not be awarded a Captain Position for twelve (12) months or a new First Officer Category for twenty-four (24) months.
d. A Pilot subject to a First Officer freeze will be released from such freeze to prevent the hiring of a Captain off the street.
Of course an involuntary displacement would remove the seat lock. Just bid where you want to end up and then hope you get it.

I am in BOS so it is being released. I have what I really want on there so I can move home and live in base, I was just curious because there is so many damn numbers to try to figure out!
I am just trying to figure out probability which is impossible. So bid is updated and fingers are crossed! Hope to get rid of this 2 leg commute!
