I haven't had that confirmed. I was under the impression that 11-08 was indeed manual, and the "mother" (11-09) was supposed to be mated up with a new program to do it. Obviously, it wasn't correctly programmed from the start. Although I would be curious to see what it generated if it didn't take any C&R's into play.

On the crewtrac note, you would actually be surprised the server behind it. The server room is quite impressive. The problem is the actual software. Very dated and cannot handle high demand. 2013 should be the luftansa system. From what I am hearing it's pretty sweet and makes Crewtrac and FLICA look truly "old school".

It's only money in the end I guess.

Well hopefully they get it fixed asap id like to know where I am going to end up! ( being displaced)

I can see how the system got overloaded most likely and threw up the middle finger but it should have been noticed on a trial run

The union guys have had plenty of time to go over the last award, I'm not saying it's correct, but they have checked it out and haven't found anything wrong yet.

I think the problem stems from the shear number of secondaries that this award creates. Even if the software couldn't handle the problems on the last award, the planner can manually correct it more easily than on this monstrosity.

Because it's a deadline and there's a whole bunch of Saab guys anxious to bail off this sinking ship.

That and a lot of guys are getting displaced/upgrading to a different bird in a different base and are trying to figure out moving/living arrangements.

You can't plan a move in the "moving days" given to you. Not possible unless you're moving in back home.

Guys are just trying to figure out where they'll end up. Nothing wrong with that

Theres no break to be given if you can't meet a deadline don't set one, doesn't matter how big or small the project
