Not gonna physically harm someone, don't be stupid. But a quick lesson on the first half of the list getting super seniority, with 1400s being guys hired January/Feb 2008, is well above the other 9E guys who were not so lucky. Just a friendly reminder to keep your complaints in check, because the last person to have any sympathy is sitting in the right seat.

We're not talking about 2001 hires being passed by 2008 hires or anything here.
Actually, that is true for the IAH Q400 Captain position. Look at the awards, and the alternates. For the IAH Q400, if quotas are met, the most junior 9E/XJ pilots are guys hired in 2001. But if quota not met, the Colgan guys hired May 2008 get the IAH Q spot.

I've got a great idea: Keep whining about the award / Colgan / Bloch / the right seat.
That should make everything better.

How many 900's / 200's (lol) are on order? Well, Conited is on the hook for 12-15 more Q's next year. See? I just made it easy for the " Professional Pilot" degree folks to figure out where the growth is and who brings what to the table. Amazing...

I understand that, but you were trying to make the point that Colgan (gasp!) pilots were getting the ATL 900 CA slots. That's what I was speaking to.

I have said before, and I'll say it again that I don't feel the fences are fair. I didn't make them. But I'm not going to bid away from the Q to let a junior-to-me Colgan (gasp!) pilot take the seat, because that's all that would happen. I can't give that seat to a XJ/9E pilot, even if I wanted to. It's fenced. It's done. Move forward.

You mean the USFS lawsuit for one of our overweight -200's dumping fuel over a national forest?

Dude stop bantering about being on the hook for more q's. Did they announce it on a conference call? Press release? No. And it makes me furious that people think getting more q's is a good thing. It's not.

For someone named "SLIBandit" it seems fitting. This bandit wants more Qs.

And it's worth noting that while the -200 market isn't growing, there are shifting of contract flying from one reigonal to another. Same with the 700/900s. The DCI Pilot alliance is worthless, and they have no leverage with Delta. Delta will shift jets that it owns to anyone they think can do it cheaper. Goodbye 7 jets from ASA and 5 from Skywest = hello GoJets. Didn't US Air just give some CRJ-200/700/900 flying as US Airways Express to Skywest? This is flying that our incompetent management didn't get because our staffing is horrendous and they are far behind the curve.

Easy tiger. I just tossed out that scrap of hope to those people who insist that Colgan brought nothing to the table but Chuck and Buddy....
