Default Lost interest in American Eagle

I have an interview this coming Wed. After AMR filed bankrupt, I lost all interest in the interview as I am not sure I want to risk leaving a job for a company that will likely be shrinking. Opinions

From the looks of it I'm guessing you are at CHQ?

I would wait and see how things pan out. As you know the worst place to be is on the bottom of the senority list during a time like this. I interviewed at Mesaba one week before NW declared BK I got offered the job but no class date, needless to say I never set one foot on property.

Yeah, tough call for the Eagle interview. Right now, we are being told that hiring will continue. But, with that being said, I expect to be furlough as an instructor. Just a gut feeling, I could be wrong. Good luck to ya.

I have an interview on the 20th and am also in the same boat. Very disappointing to me because it has been a goal of mine since i was a kid to fly for eagle and aa. I have a very stable job that i make a decent living at and also periodically fly for my company. My company is also seriously considering buying an airplane. Also have a wife and baby and im the sole income. Not sure if i want to take a risk to go to eagle and possibly turn our lives upside down.

Do the interview. It's good experience; the more of 'em you do, the better you get at them. You don't have to take the job.

Don't do it. Baby moma drama doesn't work on any 1st yr regional job, and with the threat of not having that Oh soo luxurios $22k a year, no thank you.

If fact, are you hiring?

What if I get hired and decide not to take the job, or if I cancel the interview, would I ever be called by them again. I am not sure I would take it if offered as I have a wife and kids also and I think joining a bankrupt company would be foolish.

AE is going to have problems hiring.

Or another standpoint is AA merges with AE and you could've been an AA pilot.
