Awsome! Thanks XJet for keeping the race to the BOTTOM alive. The whole industry is greatful and in debt to your noble cause. |

I love how the asa guys refuse to admit that we have the better contract and that we should be using it as the base line for negotiation. Go ahead, continue defending that embarrassment of a contract, we'll just keep ours as is for the time being.
I was there when the asa mec walked out. No matter, 2850 votes to your 1700 will make everything clear. And so we're all on the same page, any TA that degrades our quality of life including PBS will get shut down! The financial health of the company is the responsibility of management, not the pilots. Although saying we have "an embarrassment of a contract" might be a bit extreme... As far as the actions of your MEC, ask them what they believe should be the direction of the combined contract? That may answer a few questions.... |

Got your sarcasm, not your point of view. Explain.
Is it just me that finds this obvious? |
[QUOTE=DASH8EE;1113686]Its in my original post as a quote. Xjet getting Eagle AC. Under cutting other Regionals for more flying. The only way Xjet is getting Eagle AC is by flying them cheaper. If Xjet was not flying them for cheaper they would not be getting them. Hence, flying someone else's AC for cheaper is CONTINUING THE RACE TO THE BOTTOM.
Is it just me that finds this obvious?[/QUOTE I was thinking "No way can he be using the Race To The Bottom line in this situation" Guess I was wrong. No hard facts have even been presented that this aircraft exchange is true. Pump the breaks. |

I know there are no hard facts. I was responding to a random post. It may not be true at all. If it becomes true, then yes it would be continuing the racae to the bottom. No need to pump the breaks. Thanks though. Sarcasm. |
