Hired and training complete by June 21st
 

I just submitted applications to

*GoJet
*SkyWest
*AirWisconsin
*PSA Airlines

And on Monday I will submit to

*Republic
*Expressjet (waiting for internal rec.)

I have to be in Europe from June 21st to the 25th, and my goal is to be complete with training by then. With what airlines would that be realistic?

My times are 1100TT with 120ME (currently instructing)
I have no college degree and I am 30 years young....
My location is Orlando, but moving to PHL in May/June

I don't think right now...its realistic at all. Not to mention as a new hire you ability to dictate that you must be off those days is very likely not to happen. Good luck.

Save yourself some serious headaches and wait to apply to the regional indentured servitude until after you move and come back from Europe or else I wouldn't plan on going.....to many what ifs and very little ability to control them.

Even IF you could possibly be done by then, there is a very very slim chance of getting the time off to go to Europe right after training. If it is an important trip I would wait on the regionals because there is no way of knowing if you could make it happen.

Just call in sick and buy your ticket on a non affiliated airline.

A realistic expectation would be a class date after July or later if you got a call TODAY for an interview (at least that would be at skywest). Not sure what classes are like at the other airlines you applied to but at skywest, sounds like classes are filled thru may/June.

Still when you ever get an interview you can say you need certain days off and can't accept a class for your MUST go to trip to Europe. Otherwise for your goal you would NEED to accept a class in march to finish ground school, sim, and ioe, but then you got at least reserve right after that once on the line. So your goal becomes even less realistic. If you MUST take your trip to Europe, go before you have a class.

Why are you moving to PHL and attempting to get a new job not necessarily based in PHL?

Commuting is absolutely horrible. Commuting out of PHL is downright torturous. It is one of the worst airports I can imagine commuting through. Not to mention trying to do this while a reserve probationary regional FO. Life is going to suck for you.

Get hired somewhere and pick a base that seems stable and that you could live at. Move there. Don't commute.
