Yep they own around 7% and want seats on the board.

I am thinking the board wants pncl into bankruptcy to save there seats from new investors. I am also thinking Minke got his raise because he will not get bonus for 2012 if we go bk.

writing may be on the wall

AA CEO got a several million dollar raise after getting pay cuts from his employees. Not sure if it was before or after BK though. And he eventually so kindly gave it back after all the negative press and probably death threats

This is what I think...

There were 10 Hub Coordinators throughout the PNCL system in the Hubs. Let's say they average $35,000. This would equal $350,000.

Where did the $350k go now? Oh yeah, to their F'ing packets and some of them on the street.

Get out while you can. F this place.

I figured you came here after 9 years at OH. You're pretty vested in our fight here.

It does send a bad message to the employees. The majors aren't exactly hiring in droves (waiting on the "pilot shortage" indeed) and the Chinese pilot market option only works for those with a current Boeing/Airbus type. Good Luck and hang in there. On the brighter side, the MegaMillions is at $290 million.

Hopefully this was because they have figured a way out of this outside of BK and some good announcements are coming. If that is not the case we are in for a very, very difficult road over the next few months. The lack of a bankruptcy filing so far could be an argument that we are working things out, but we still have two Fridays (most companies file BK on a Friday after the markets close at 4) to get through until April 2. If we get to April 2 with no BK filing then we may be out of the woods. We'll see what happens over the next week and a half, but I'll admit that things don't look very promising right now.
Bob Slydell: No. No, of course not. We find it's always better to fire people on a Friday. Studies have statistically shown that there's less chance of an incident if you do it at the end of the week.

Gentleman, lets not fight among ourselves..... we have a bigger problem here with our executives. Lets bond together and send a unified message to Pncl's management and BOD to kiss our rear ends.
