Playing devil's advocate here-does anyone think this was approved to stave off losing real senior leadership again, a'la Ted Christie to Spirit?

You are on to something here. Under SM's leadership, share price began at $5.71 and has since vaulted to $1.33!!! For that reason, the share holder's were emphatic about giving our fearless leader a 58.8% pay raise.

What leadership? Any credibility these poor excuses for a management team had is gone. These guys are nothing but corporate raiders.

Up next - damage control/organized labor manipulation.

"I decided to turn down the raise because I'm such a great guy blah blah blah. Now you need to take pay cuts."

NO!

They never thought us brainless workers would figure out how to read an SEC filing but they were wrong. HAHAHA Good thing this place is public or we would never know what is going on behind the curtain.

Hey, I am just a man asking questions. I am trying to follow the dollars.

You're right, the stock price has plummeted, yet the leadership has not been overthrown by the board-why? Are we being prepared to be served up as a tasty merger/buyout by another company?
