Another example of top-down leadership at it's very worst...Do as I say, and not as I do. Not only that it completely underminds the ability of middle managers to have any credibility with their subordinates. People don't want to hear, "we are working on it", "we need to improve our metrics", "we had a pretty good week, our controllable delays were...blah blah", that kind of thing just isn't resonating...As pilots we are under the immense pressures of dealing with screwed up pay, middle-managers who are either resume building for the next job, and have no empowerment. Sending patronizing emails IS NOT LEADERSHIP....Basically just tired of the BS...WE GET IT...Operate just like you always have, as professionals...GREAT...Now, management show us LEADERSHIP and not asinine memos and e-mails that we are working in improving our processes...

Facing bankruptcy, Pinnacle executives get big pay raise - Action News 5 - Memphis, Tennessee
No mention how they asked the employees for concessions. Great one sided reporting.

When is the seniority list going to be updated? There has a fair amount of turnover, and I believe a few newhires since the January list was published.

All I have to say is cheers! I am second generation pilot, thus I need two tubes of Vaseline and the hard stuff to make it "okay". How "these guys" get away with this sh** kills me. Hopefully with the recent legislation and supposed pilot shortage coming we can hand a little back..."ride together die together...pilots for life"...

or if another Vacancy, or Furlough. I have a feeling they don't want to release one unless they have to. Getting short again on pilots and don't want us to get any leverage (even if there are no negotiations)

From the article...
"These guys are working very hard, and again, the company is on the brink of something very serious and to stay with the company in times like these really takes commitment," said Lee Harris.
Disgusting. Plain and simple.

Exactly, maybe we should all jump ship. After all, chit rolls down hill and i am lucky if I get paid correctly let alone a raise.
