Ok The truth about Riddle guys

Your absolutely right....they shouldnt take the job flying the 50 pax jet....they should hold out for he 777 captain spot that is sure to open up for them soon with all their 300 hours of experience.
Maybe if they take the 50 seat jet job its because they dont think they are god's gift to aviation but someone that wants to learn and get experience.
Keep bashing them cuzz im sure the 777 captain's gig worked for you at 300 hours.

Ummmmm, I'm sure you didn't mean to say that an ERAU grad was qualified to drive an RJ with 300TT, now did you?
I have yet to meet the 300 hour pilot who was ready for the show. At that point most of us were still dangerous. Those first 50 hours of dual given probably should be given for free, 'cause a new CFI is still figuring it out.
Now if you still claim that an ERAU guy is good to go at 300, I'll have to agree with the flame, er thread starter, about the arrogance of at least one Riddler...

ERAU is a rip
I went to ERAU for a year, biggest mistake i ever made. Daddys not rich so i took loans, now i'm paying the price. The smartest thing I ever did was leave. Unfortunately for me I knew nothing and nobody in this industry, so I was sucked in to the trap! Of course..if I knew then what I do now, I would have never gone. I regret it big time. About $40,000 worth of regret to be exact!

"Before the formation of Alpha Omicron Alpha, there was no honor society strictly for Embry-Riddle students majoring in Aeronautical Science." ^^ !
Would anyone like to join me in establishing an honor society strictly for people who are able to tie their shoes?

i almost went to riddle because i DIDNT KNOW HOW THE GAME WORKED, and i didnt realize how the industry worked till prob 3 YEARS INTO COLLEGE including one year at Daniel Webster which is almost as bad.
its not there fault, its our fault for not getting the word out better that the best way to be a pilot is to go to your FBO or the military. everyone i meet who has aspirations and wants to go to the regional airline academy or crap like that i try to to tell them now.
when i told my guidance counselor that i wanted to be a pilot shes said there are 2 main schools ERAU AND DWC
its not THEIR FAULT, SPREAD THE WORD!!

no you used to post on this website becuase you had a decent opinion to offer. Not that you are a bad @ss jet driver you are gods gift to the world. Unfortunately you are every stereotype that we complain about on this site. However, you fuel this fire with your asinine comments so i think you actually enjoy that role, whether that furthers your career only time will tell! Hopefully the jump to XJet was the right move, only another 5 years of sittin' right seat will tell?!

I hate generalizations and stereotypes. But I have to agree with the original post that when I hear that my FO went to Riddle I don't look forward to that flight with him.
But I've met a few great guys from Riddle. However, the proportion of arrogant SOBs is far greater.
Pretty much everyone who graduated in a non-flying degree from Riddle is as normal as one could get.
That's exactly how they sound when they upgrade. See what SAABaroowski means now?
